Global Aqua Ventures will transport 35 million litres of safe, provenance-guaranteed, nutrient-rich spring water per shipment from Tasmania to the world.
An innovative stainless steel configuration in fit-for-purpose ships will enable bulk spring water to be safely and efficiently delivered to key customers.
Our water is sourced from a bubbling spring located in the heart of Tasmania's limestone country on the edge of 1.6 million hectares of world heritage rainforest. The remote and secure site ensures the water source is free from impurities. The water naturally free flows from the pristine spring, ensuring Global Aqua Ventures' project has no impact on the water table. And, excitedly, this project eliminates the need to transport single use containers to the water source. There are endless opportunities for innovative companies to entirely dismiss the use of plastic bottles by utilising new technology to dispense water in public locations, such as train and bus stations, office blocks and airports. Or GAV's preferred partner may prefer to secure this water to assist countries that do not have access to safe drinking water, to replace an unsustainable water source for an existing water brand or launch a new water brand to market premium Tasmanian spring water at a premium price point.

Project Milestones

  • Secure Water Supply - A Conditional Contract is in place for the supply of one million litres per day of pristine laboratory-tested spring water from a Government-licensed, free-flowing spring;
  • Transport of Water to Port - Proven road tanker transport operators contracted to deliver spring water from spring to port;
  • Sourcing of Bulk Storage Tanks - Bulk storage tank fabricators contracted to construct seven x five million liltre site-built storage tanks;
  • Secure Port Space and Offshore Pipeline - Secure deep-water port facilities contracted and lease developed for neighbouring tank farm and connecting pipeline easement;
  • Fit-for-Purpose Ships - Innovative shipping technology developed and first ship scheduled to depart 12 months post confiration of off-take partner and project finance;
  • Source water storage tanks, port space and construct offshore pipeline in select countries - Discussions are underway with preferred international partners around the globe; and
  • Confirmation of partners / wholesalers in select countries - Discussions are continuing with potential partners interested in wholesaling, processing and / or retailing pristine Tasmanian spring water.
